Petunia’s Pricing Structure – 96×96 Avatars
I’ve made some preliminary plans for pricing and as I said, I plan on making them very affordable. They will range from $2.50 – $10 per set. Most sets will be in the $2.50 range which encompass noses, mouths, eyebrows, eyes, and other “small” sets as I see them. The next set range is on the $5 mark which will be for hair, clothes and faces. Then there is the additional sets which will be $7.50 or $10 which will be for those extra features such as beards and mustaches, more expressions, clothing accessories, animations (lip flap, blinking eyes), and others.
Each set will at least be made of 5 types whether there different colors, shapes, or thickness as in the case of the eyebrows. Some will include additional files such as the hair and face that will include individual shade and highlight layers for you to add or not add. These sets will be produced in PNG (one for each layer) and in PSD which will have all the layers in one file.
These prices are only reflective of a 96×96 pixel size and may or may not reflect on any future pricing structure I make for another set (i.e. 3/4 body images, RPG tiles, etc.) I plan on making complete pack’s available too for those who don’t want to bother with picking and choosing things and with the way I planned things, it can be easily priced at $20, $25 or $30. For example, I would price this at $24.95:
Quarter View Face Set (x5 colors – white, black, peach, brown, tan – includes shade and highlights) $5
Nose Set (x5 types) $2.50
Mouth Set (x5 expressions – normal, very happy, unhappy, surprised, shout) $2.50
Eye Set (x5 colors – white, black, peach, brown, tan – includes shade and highlights) $2.50
Thick Eyebrow Set (x5 shapes) $2.50
Standard Hero* Hair Set (x5 colors – white, black, peach, brown, tan – includes shade and highlights) $5
Clothes Set (x5 or more colors depending on complexity of clothes – includes shade and highlights) $5
There’s a few cents difference but I hope it gives you an incentive to buy the complete packs and then go from there by choosing the individual sets. And like mentioned in my intro post, there will be freebies! :D
* standard in JRPGs = spiky haired
