Ideas Galore: CSS Zen Garden
This article was originally posted in my old but now defunct blog on February 5, 2008. Original text is in italics.
I’m always in the lookout for sites that can inspire me to create better websites. One thing that I love to use is CSS (aka Cascading Style Sheet) mainly for it’s easy method of upgrading an entire site’s look using just one document. If you’re unfamiliar with CSS, I suggest you take a look at it for it’ll save you time in the long run.
Surfing around the site, I came across a site which has inspired me to create better websites and has taught me new CSS tricks called CSS Zen Garden. This site has continually changing examples but one of several that has caught my eye (and catch yours for sure) is Retro Theater by Eric Rogé. Now that is what web designing is all about!
Of course, my goal and your goal shouldn’t be to make something of that caliber – just only to make your space in the web look better than everyone else’s! :P j/k For more examples, check out their complete list here and hopefully, it’ll get your creative juices flowing. :)
